It is most abundant in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Brittany, Galicia, Canary Islands, Madeira and the Azores, but is also found in other locations including France, Spain, Portugal and Italy.〔("Species Action Plan: Killarney Fern (Trichomanes speciosum)" ) BAP.
